Megan is a Staff Manufacturing Engineer who supports customers’ manufacturability concerns by providing design feedback and working with customers throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure end parts meet necessary aesthetic and performance requirements. She is passionate about geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and tolerance analysis, and she uses this expertise to inform design and inspection best practices. Previously, Megan worked as a mechanical engineer in the defense industry supporting the design, thermal and structural analysis, and environmental testing of production electro-mechanical equipment. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Chicago's many neighborhoods and cooking new recipes. Megan is also passionate about STEM education in local and underserved communities, with particular emphasis on young women and minorities who may face greater barriers to entering STEM fields.
